National Annual Native American Convention
As part of our study about Native Americans, students are able to create a display representing 1 of 4 North American regions. Students will focus on how the basic needs of the Native Americans were met. Lower elementary students will be invited to view the displays. There will be an assessment following the unit.

Don't put off learning your state capitals each week. It is easier to learn 2 capitals than 4, 6, or even more.
1st quiz: August 28. Capitals:Jefferson City, MO and Lincoln, NE. Students will also need to be able to locate Missouri and Nebraska on a United States map.
